Professional Experience & Biography
Dr. Sabrina Jones is a board-certified internal medicine physician with a distinguished background and a deep-seated commitment to patient care. Raised in the Chicagoland area, she aspired to be a physician from a young age which led her to receive her bachelor’s degree in economics and medical degree at Northwestern University through the highly selective Honors Program in Medical Education.
Dr. Jones then went on to complete her internal medicine residency at Rush University in 2017, after which she had the honor of being selected to remain for an extra year as a chief resident. It was during this pivotal year that she discovered her passion for teaching. This guided her decision to continue her career at Rush, where she stayed on as a hospitalist and associate program director for the internal medicine residency.
She feels fortunate to have joined North Shore Medical Associates in 2023 where she has the opportunity to foster close relationships with her patients. She uses her background in education to empower her patients with knowledge, thereby enabling them to achieve their health goals in a way that aligns with their own personal approach. Dr. Jones believes that an informed patient is a healthier patient and is committed to ensuring an understanding not only of the health conditions, but also the different pathways to addressing them.
