At North Shore Medical Associates, we are a primary care provider of concierge medicine serving patients throughout the North Shore suburbs of Chicago. More and more people are now choosing concierge medicine instead of the traditional style of medical practice for many reasons, especially for the personalized relationship that develops between doctor and patient. If you are unsure about concierge medicine and how it can benefit you and your family, take a look at some of the most frequently asked questions about our practice.

The annual fee includes your annual comprehensive physical exam, blood work specific to the annual exam and an EKG.  Any insurance or Medicare payment we receive for that visit will be reimbursed to you.  Additionally, you will have readily available appointment times and the doctors’ cellphone numbers for after hours medical questions.

Yes, we accept Medicare and are In Network for many insurance plans. Office visits, aside from your annual physical, will be billed to your insurance and you will be balance billed the portion insurance does not pay.  We do not collect any co-pays. 

You may use your HSA/FSA account to pay for your annual fee.  Beyond that, patients are advised to consult with their tax consultant.

You are free to see any specialist you like but our physicians have developed strong relationships with top specialists in all fields. Our doctors will follow up with your specialist and can help orchestrate much of your specialty care.  Our physicians are on staff at Northwestern Lake Forest, NorthShore University HealthSystem and Rush University and can refer patients to select specialists across the country.

Our practice is very accustomed to managing our patients’ care while they travel.  The physicians have developed strong contacts with specialists all over the country and can often facilitate making appointments, communicate with other physicians and provide continuity of care while you are away.
